Alabama Supreme Court Pandemic Emergency Response Orders Extended Through End of December
The Supreme Court of Alabama issued Administrative Order No. 14, which extended its previous orders allowing for an ombudsman to approve settlements and allowing the use of video conferencing through Dec. 31, 2021. The Order is attached here.

Admissions Ceremony Snapshots
Last week, we welcomed more than 400 new members of the Alabama State Bar and celebrated more than 1,000 admittees who missed their admissions ceremony due to COVID-related cancellations. Help us congratulate these new official Alabama lawyers!
Don't wait until the last minute to earn your 12.0 total MCLE credits, including at least 1.0 Ethics hour. These credits must be completed no later than Dec. 31, 2021, and reported no later than Feb. 15, 2022. You should monitor your MCLE transcript by logging in to your dashboard and selecting the “MCLE Compliance Report."

The Mobile and Baldwin Bar Associations have partnered together to host the Supreme Court of Alabama for Oral Arguments on November 4-5, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama.
The Oral Arguments will be held starting at 9 AM at the Saenger Theatre at 6 South Joachim Street in Mobile. Attendance is open to Alabama practicing attorneys and area school students. Those planning to attend must register; Registration is free.
