The ASB’s Diversity in the Profession Committee is hosting its 2^nd Annual College Minority Conferences.  This year the Conferences will be in Birmingham and Montgomery.  The Conferences were inspired by the longstanding High School Minority Pre-law program offered by the Young Lawyer’s Section of the Alabama State Bar.

These free conferences are creating a pipeline for minority students within our state to obtain valuable information about pursuing a legal career.  College Students will receive information regarding the requirements for gaining admission to law school, listen to panel discussions on various careers available to persons with a juris doctorate, watch a mock trial, hear advice from attorneys and judges, and network with students who have similar ambitions.

Free to college students and college pre-law advisors but RSVP required. Lunch provided and reception. Volunteers needed.
