The CLE is designed to introduce members of the bar to the concept of implicit bias, the ubiquitous nature thereof, and the resulting harms when left unabated. Speakers and panelists aim to openly confront this issue through constructive discussion, without assigning intent, with the enduring hope of inspiring meaningful change.

From 9:30 – 10:30 am, hear from Jarvis Parsons, the Brazos County Texas District Attorney, who will speak on “Implicit Bias in Prosecution,” focusing on how prosecutors can understand their own biases in order to help create more just outcomes.
