A Virtual Congratulations to the Newest Alabama State Bar Members
Published on May 24, 2020
This past week, we would have celebrated the Spring Admissions Ceremony for the newest admitees of the Alabama State Bar. Unfortunately, that ceremony had to be cancelled, but President Christy Crow, Supreme Court of Alabama Chief Justice Tom Parker, Presiding Judge Mary Windom of the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals and Presiding Judge Bill Thompson of the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals still wanted to give a word of congratulations and greetings to all those entering the profession! We look forward to celebrating all of you in person at the Fall Admissions Ceremony in October!
The February 2020 bar exam results have been released. The pass list and statistics are available here. Congratulations to all who passed! Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the Spring Admission Ceremony has been cancelled. You can read the Supreme Court Order about the cancellation here. Those individuals admitted to the Alabama State Bar since the most recent ceremony will be invited to participate in the Fall Admission Ceremony, to be held at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Additional information on registering for the Fall Admission Ceremony will be emailed to eligible members closer to the ceremony date.
