Designed for both the new attorney looking to hang a shingle and established practitioners thinking of leaving a firm to start a solo practice, Solo Out of the Gate, a 6 CLE credit hour program (1 ethics hour) on October 17th from Cumberland School of Law, will cover everything you need to know to get up and running.
Come learn office startup essentials including how to select the right entity to protect your personal assets and minimize taxes, what technology you must have and what you can do without, everything you need to know about e-filing, how to meet your insurance needs within your budget, how to effectively incorporate social media into your marketing mix, and how to avoid the ethics pitfalls that many new solos fall prey to.
The seminar will be held at the Hyatt Regency/Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham, and will begin at 8 am and end at 4 pm, with lunch on your own. Early registration with self-printed materials is only $279. Same day registration with materials on a flash drive is $299. Materials only are also available. Register now.
