Associate Family Law Attorney
Morris Firm for Men is a growing family law firm located in Montgomery, Alabama, currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or current attorney already practicing family law or looking to make the change to family law.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases.
- Assist senior attorneys in drafting legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlements.
- Attend client meetings, hearings, and trials to gain practical experience and exposure to courtroom procedures.
- Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and provide input on legal matters.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and easily accessible.
- Assist with client communication and provide updates on case progress.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Alabama State Bar
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
